Meet the Team
Amanda Hoffner
Amanda Hoffner, half Japanese angler from Pennsylvania, began her tenkara obsession when researching fly fishing methods from Japan. She can be found deep on a blue line in the eastern US mountains fishing for native brook trout from early spring to late fall and at her vise when it's too cold to wet wade.

Nate Camp
North-East Liaison
Nate Camp is a New England based outdoorsman, Marine Corps Veteran, Chef and Connecticut Tenkara Guide. He is a volunteer for Backcountry Hunters & Anglers, and the Connecticut Liaison for its Armed Forces Initiative.

He can be found exploring rocky waterways, wild areas, and trails wherever he may be, practicing outdoor skills and constantly striving to learn new ones. Nate works to foster love of adventure in wild places with others and especially his young daughter.
